An exclusive session for the delegation group with best-selling leadership book author, Bill Treasurer
The Open-door Leadership workshop focuses on aligning the needs of the organization with the career aspirations of those you lead. People and organizations grow and develop when they intentionally pursue goals and challenges that stretch their skills and test their mettle. Great leaders are opportunity-creators; they “open doors” of opportunity for others. Drawing on the concepts introduced in the bestselling leadership training book, Leaders Open Doors (ATD Press, 2014), participants will strengthen their effectiveness as leaders by learning radically simple ways to help people and organizations grow by creating challenging and meaningful opportunities. Participants will be equipped with specific actions and “take aways” that can be immediately applied back on the job.
After participating in this workshop you’ll be able to:
Define Open-door Leadership, and apply it in your role as a leader or influencer of others.
Inspire greater performance in others by focusing on opportunity-creation, honest communication, and grounded leadership.
Modulate between comfort and discomfort in order to help people grow, develop, and progress.
Inspire innovation by leveraging risk-taking, mistake-making, and strategic forgiveness.
Demonstrate why authenticity and vulnerability are the foundations of true leadership power and influence.
Lead more confidently, authentically, and effectively!
Date & Time: Monday, 18 May 2015 | 10.30am - 11.45am
